The Top Ten Easy Songs - to Learn on Guitar
What should be your first guitar tunes to learn? We have lots of songs to recommend because Guitar Noise pretty much invented the entire "easy guitar song lesson" thing!
You can play songs using the chords, your rhythm and strumming and plucking as well as almost every basic technique of guitar. Moreover, it's much more enjoyable to play! And these tunes may all be played on an acoustic or electric guitar while delivering something different.
These tracks have a lovely cross-section of the Guitar Noise courses. Others are new songs, some older classics and some public domain tunes not to be overlooked. Some courses are simple patterns of strumming while others expose you to the technique of fingerpicking.
1. Horse With No Name is actually a classic rock song by America from 1972.
For your first song, it's perfect, because it is so simple. Actually, in less time than it takes you to converse, you can learn to play this song. Two chords, a basic 4/4 beat and a modest pace are all to play. Don't worry if all that implies you don't know! All this is explained by our lesson as you teach it to play. Start the fundamental tangling and lyrics, and attempt the solo and additional tangling skills if you wish. In case you know someone who is playing bass, there is even a bass section.
2. For What It’s Worth is a golden oldie by Buffalo Springfield, a 60’s band that included both Stephen Stills and Neil Young.
